On July 13, twelve members of Edward Jackson Chapter attended a Heraldry Workshop. Chapter President Julie Stuhlmacher coordinated it with a regular chapter meeting and brunch the next day, which was attended by two prospective and fifteen regular members. State President Jennifer Ehle was a guest at both. Francine Zamora, 1st VP; Ellen Kuchta, Registrar; and Marian Fiasca, Heraldry & COA Chairman, led the workshop guiding members in researching from personal laptops and a multitude of resource books which everyone brought to share. A copy machine, workspace, and internet were available. Though everyone brought food to share, few wanted to take time to eat. Starting at 6 PM, it suddenly was 10 PM and no one wanted to quit. As the regular chapter meeting was to commence at 9 AM the next morning at the home of chapter member Diana Schneider, everyone reluctantly left. |
